OUTDOOR CREW MEMBERS

Successful applicants must possess:

Full clean drivers licnese; hands-on work experience in the field of carpentry, electrical, plumbing or other trade; ability to work outside in all weather conditions, support a busy park operation, able to lift up to 40lbs, do heavy dirty work when required and be able to work alone or in a team.

 2008 EXTENDED SEASONAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Marineland is seeking to fill two key positions in the organization on an extended seasonal basis April-November. These positions require individuals that are prepared to return year after year, commit to the business and grow the position. Must be able to support a 7-day a week park operation walk and stand for the entire shift. ADMISSIONS TEAM LEADER - this position requires excellent cash handling, credit card and debit card  experience, minimum of 5 years previous work experience running a front desk, admissions function or box office type position, group bookings and tour groups, excellent computer skills, must be able to handle high pressure situations and run a team of approximately 30 hosts, cashiers and assistants.

GUEST SERVICE/OPERATIONS ASSISTANT - this position requires exceptional guest service skills and applicants must have 5 years work experience in a similar field on their resume. Must be able to handle all types of guest service situations with calm and grace and be able to make decisions.

In order to promote a family atmosphere at Marineland the park maintains a set of grooming policies. No unusual or extreme hair colours are permitted (e.g. green, blue, pink). Gentlemen are to be clean-shaven or have a trimmed beard. Hair length for males should be above the top of the shirt collar or tied back neatly. Earrings are restricted to two per ear of no more than 1/2 inch in size. In certain departments such as animal care, maintenance or foodservice, studs are to be worn. Visible face or body tattoos are not permitted with the uniform. Studs or rings in the nose, eyebrows, lip, tongue, chin etc. are not permitted.
